Seller Guidelines

1.1 Minimum mandatory information. Every listing must include: reference and/or serial number; year of manufacture; case and strap material; dial color; movement type (manual, automatic, quartz, etc.); full set details (box, pouch, paperwork, warranty, manuals); listing publication location; Seller identity and details (visible on every listing under Art. 30 DSA and Art. 22 Legislative Decree 206/2005); special terms of sale (delivery timeframe, prices inclusive of VAT and fees, return and warranty terms).

1.2 Prohibited products and categories: loose diamonds, raw gold, individual jewelry items; stolen, counterfeit, or illicit goods; unauthorized external financing offers; Frankenwatches (watches assembled with non-original or non-compliant parts); items listed on RAPEX / Safety Gate recall systems or non-compliant with CE/UKCA standards.

Recommended content: official brand name, model, key characteristics (color, material, well-known nickname).

Prohibited content: prices, delivery notes, seller contact info, ALL CAPS text, emojis, and special characters aimed at search manipulation.

Recommended info: date of last service/overhaul, work performed, included paperwork, remaining warranty, and visible signs of wear.

Prohibited content: phone numbers, email addresses, external links, or attempts to conduct transactions outside the Platform.

Sellers must grade watches using only the following standardized categories:

Note: Always explicitly specify if the box, strap, or buckle are aftermarket / non-original.

Limits and formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP; recommended minimum resolution 1000 × 1000 px; maximum 12 photos per listing.

Main photo hand rule: watch hands set to 10:10 to ensure maximum visibility of dial and logo.

Photo prohibitions: strict ban on filters hiding defects, watermarks, personal contact info, or overlaid logos. Neutral background with natural or diffused lighting (no direct flash).

Prices must always be displayed including VAT.

0% Transaction fees: no sales commission is charged on transaction value by Clockface; the service is fully covered by the active Subscription plan.

Price modification after receiving a purchase order is strictly prohibited.

Mandatory insured shipping covering the full declared value of the item.

Immediate tracking number notification to customer upon dispatch.

Listing removal within 24 hours if item becomes unavailable.

Response to prospective buyer inquiries within a maximum of 24 hours.

Strict ban on sharing phone numbers, emails, or IBAN details to conclude sales outside the Platform.

Reviews are strictly reserved for verified purchasers.

Strict prohibition on fake reviews, review solicitation, or providing incentives in exchange for positive ratings.

Verification and updating of company records, IBAN, and personal identification within 5 business days of any modification.

Sellers must verify that items are not subject to RAPEX / Safety Gate alert notifications pursuant to EU Reg. 2023/988 (GPSR).

Minor violations: warning with 5-day remedy deadline, temporary visibility downgrade or listing suspension.

Severe violations (counterfeiting or fraud): immediate Account termination, removal of all active listings, and reporting to competent authorities.

Dedicated space exclusively for Professional Sellers for buy, sell, or trade listings.

Access included in Subscription without transaction commissions.

Negotiations handled through internal messaging and platform checkout.

Badge granted based on document and reputation checks (does not involve physical inspection of the watch).

The seller retains full legal liability for item authenticity and condition.

Clockface directly sells Clockface Apparel merchandise, tool kits, and Academy courses.

Compliance guarantee under EU Reg. 2019/1150: non-public seller data is never used for unfair competition.
